And so this is me — 12th grade behind me, a blank page ahead, and a thousand ideas in between. Where It All Began I can't pinpoint the exact moment I fell in love with writing. Maybe it was the bedtime stories I used to hear, or maybe it was the notebooks I filled with doodles and unfinished thoughts. But somewhere along the way, I discovered that words could do what even my loudest thoughts couldn’t — they could speak back to me. Writing became a mirror, a friend, and a world of its own.
During my school years, amidst the academic grind and the pressure to perform, writing was my safe space. It was the corner of the day where I could be completely myself — vulnerable, messy, honest. I remember scribbling poetry during lunch breaks, imagining characters while studying history, and finding metaphors in science class. Everything became a story, and I became its keeper. Of course, back then I didn't think of myself as a “writer.” I was just a kid with too many thoughts and too few ways to express them. But over time, those little scraps of creativity began to form something more complete. My writing matured as I did. By the time I reached the end of school, I knew — this wasn’t just a phase.
This was who I was. Why I Write I write because it’s the only way I truly understand the world. There are things I can’t say out loud, thoughts I can’t fully explain in conversation — but give me a blank page, and they begin to make sense. Writing, for me, is like breathing. It’s instinctive. It’s necessary. It’s healing. But beyond personal clarity, I write because I believe words have power. Not just the power to inform or entertain, but the power to transform — to change how we see ourselves and each other. A single sentence can shift your mood, awaken a memory, or even offer comfort during a hard time. That, to me, is magical. I want to create that kind of magic. Not just for myself, but for anyone who needs it. Whether it’s a poem that speaks to someone’s heartbreak, a story that offers escape, or an article that starts a meaningful conversation — I want my writing to matter. What I Write At this stage, I write a little bit of everything. I don’t want to limit myself to one style or genre — I’m still discovering my voice, and I believe every form of writing teaches you something new.

1. Poetry Poetry is where I go when words feel too heavy for sentences. It’s where I explore feelings that don’t fit neatly into paragraphs. I often write free verse, but I’m also drawn to structured forms — sonnets, haikus, and lyrical experiments. My poems usually explore themes like identity, vulnerability, heartbreak, healing, dreams, and the in-betweens of growing up.
2. Short Stories I love creating fictional worlds that feel real enough to step into. My short stories are often character-driven, exploring internal conflict, human relationships, and the beauty of imperfection. I enjoy slipping into the minds of different characters — seeing life through their eyes, feeling their hopes and fears, and letting their journeys unfold.
3. Personal Essays & Reflections These are closest to my heart. Writing essays helps me understand myself better — my beliefs, my growth, my failures. I share these pieces not to preach, but to reflect. And sometimes, the most personal writing ends up being the most universal.
4. Blog & Content Writing I also enjoy writing for others — especially blogs and content that aim to inform or inspire. I’m comfortable researching, structuring ideas, and writing with a specific audience in mind. Whether it’s lifestyle topics, youth experiences, emotional wellness, or creative inspiration — I’m always excited to write thoughtful, engaging pieces that resonate.
