School does not only depend on going for lectures listening to what the lecturer is saying and writing in our books. It also involves typing of presentations and doing computer practicals which relates to typing skills.
However as a student we are required of doing presentations and typing assignment for as to be prepare us for our future jobs. Therefore you would find that students are given alot of assignments and those assignments should well typed with followed instructions, were we are told the font size, spacing and so many more.
And when it comes to presentations they also require to type our information and making sure we involve visual aids where necessary.
Further more there is also computer skills were we are taught alot of things like how to type our information properly using Exel or powerpoint, how to make slides and also how to make corrections Incase of typing errors and how to insert images.
