Hello, my name is Kesty. I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Linguistics. I have a Spanish as a Foreign Language certificate. I have been an online tutor for more than 3 years. I have taught both adults and children. I have experience working with children through student teaching. As a tutor, I organized online Spanish lessons for students in the fifth grade and sixth grade respectively. I engaged the students in learning through various methods. I also encouraged students to participate actively in the lessons and kept track of each student's progress.
In addition, I have experience as an English tutor. During this period, I saw a massive improvement in the level of speaking of my students. I have the ability to create lesson plans aimed to teach Spanish grammar, conversation, oral and written communication as well as vocabulary. These lesson plans are designed to accommodate different learning abilities and interests of students. I am also able to assist students who have difficulty in grasping certain concepts. I am comfortable in working with people from different social backgrounds.
I enjoy working with students and I strive to be a positive influence on them. I believe that my skills and enthusiasm brings out the best in students. I teach about the culture of Spanish speaking countries and English speaking countries as well. I include fun learning activities like games, videos and music in my class to make learning easy. I also pay attention to the needs of students and make sure no one is left behind. I also help people who would like to travel to a Spanish speaking country.
