About my topic :the topic is related to the physic.The topic semiconductor simply defins that " those substances which partially work as a conductor and partially like nonconductor . Metalloids are the perfect example of semi conductor .for example silicon(si).
Semiconductor is mostly used in the electrical regulator which used to supply partial electricity to the appliances.more over semiconductor has got various feature like
1) there is small forbidden energy gap (-1ev)
2) at room temperature,conduction band is partially filled
3) at absolute zero ,valNce band is completely filled and conduction band is empty
4) temperature coefficient if resistance is negative
5) the electrical conductivity is intermediate between conductor and insulator
Semi conductor has also got 2 types of semi conductor ;
1) N-type semiconductor
2) P-type semiconductor

2) P-type semiconductor
» It is formed by doping tetra valent impurities to a pure semiconductor .The empurities are acceptors.
