Why I would like to proof read:
To proof read is to carefully check for errors in a text before it is published or shared. I would love to check for errors in articles, blogs and books. This would make it error-free. As the last stage of writing, I can also help with editing.
Editing is akin to proofreading, but I guess, Proof reading is a precipice; it determines the end product of the article, blogs etc. By proof reading, I would check for the misspelled words, misused punctuations, formatting issues, grammatical errors, repeated words, capitalization. Most editors could vividly omit words, or misspelled words as well as make words appear twice. I would like to fill in the gap to light up the articles.
I have little experience in proof reading. I learnt that through editing my class assignment, editing and proof reading before submission to the lecturer. but I would love to know more about proofreading.
