I am a proof reader and in my world, I desire to use words which can resonate with individuals' person experiences. Writing is just like painting a picture. However this painting doesn't belong to the author only, it is thrown into the world and people are allowed to walk into the painting to find hope, happiness and make it their own. It's very common to hear people say, " words can make or break you" but I say "words can build and heal".
As a college student I used to proof read assignments and make power point presentations for some of my course mates and friends. This brewed my interest in proof reading.
The idea is not to correct mistakes but to join hands to drawer a bigger, renaissance picture for your clients or users.
