I am Tejas Sharma, 16 years old and studying humanities in 11th grade.
I have been reading since I was a kid. Starting off with the Goosebumps novels which were a delightful treat to read. As I became more familiarised with reading, I started reading different genres.
This hobby of mine has made my content writing skills advance. Content writing is something I can do fabulously, something I'm very proud of .
I think it is time for me to put my skills to use and start earning and saving for my future career.
Following article is something I wrote for one of my mother's students ( she is a tutor).
Observations on widespread of COVID-19
It’s been 2 years since we first heard the name of COVID-19, while scientists tried to study and find out what was the origin of this peculiar microbe, everyone shoved it off as just another one of those viruses which die off when the conditions become too harsh, as a matter-of-fact viruses are not living beings, that is until they enter the body of a host. But little did we know that this invisible little microbe will turn out to be humanity’s bane, that it will victimize 18.2 crore people and take 6.04 lakh lives worldwide.
After surviving 2 years in times of this pandemic I have observed following things :-
- .Most COVID-19 victims started experiencing mild symptoms which soon turn into deadly diseases.
- .There were relatively few COVID-19 cases in children
- .Most common means of transmission are coughing, sneezing, laughing, talking etc.
- .It can sometimes be transmitted by air.
- .COVID-19 usually victimize elderly people and people with other health issues like diabetes, tuberculosis etc.
- .It usually attacks lungs but it can attack blood and liver too.
To say the least, this global pandemic has led us into a situation where no one is happy.
We have to look after ourselves and our loved ones. We should wear our masks at the time when we are exposed to the surroundings, use sanitizer regularly, try to minimize outdoor trips and get vaccinated as soon as possible.
