My name is Susan, from Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa). I am an avid reader and enjoy reading broadly. Any written information, as long as proper grammar is used and is error-free is most pleasing to me. For this reason, I pay extra attention in my reading and almost always mentally proofread.
Having done this for the longest time, I recently saw it prudent to put this skill to good use and started practicing proofreading online. As days go by, I realize I would make an excellent proofreader given the opportunity. I’m a stickler for time/rules and adhere to deadlines.
My initial interest is to proofread transcription work (having been a transcriptionist), magazine articles and e-books, but all works that need proofing to enhance a readers knowledge will be a pleasure to work on.
