My past data entry work involved research data entry for a county integration development plan for Siaya county in Kenya.This was one year ago when i was still pursuing my undergraduate studies in the university.The research involved the data collection for a given county in kenya.
It lasted for one month involving a series of data collection from the students who were selected by the the dean of school by then.The research team was divided into three; data collection team,data entry team and data analysis team.I was then lucky to be slotted amongst the guys who were eligible for data entry exercise within the same discourse.
The nature of data icluded;demoghy,sex,education level,poverty level,marital status,infrastracture,access to clean water and gende based vioence data.We were using a high level technological device to to the data entry which we finally submitted to the team incharge of the analysis.
My renumeration was then 10 dollars per day
