Why is a word like rape becoming so common nowadays? Or is it that people will only care if he is not with them. When I go back a few years, I remember this case of Delhi which was called Nirbhaya case!. Such a painful incident that people shudder even today when they remember it.And even if we look at it today in the year 2024, this type of incident is still happening.
Why have we still not been able to provide justice to rape victims?. We can only do candle march as the rapist gets roams around without any fear. It's because most of the cases are been suppressed by the powerful people. As all the system of the politics are been connected with these and help those culprits.
A nation which is known for its cultural equality, where females had been given fair chance in social matters or issues, their respect and self-esteem had been on uttermost priority, what happened to that society? Why we are appreciating the the western concept of female harassment, which we disdained by our ancestors centuries ago, yes the cultural invasion and colonization had erased our cultural thought process and mindsets but now we are free and rebuilding our nation.
