Aa a good Fashion Designer I am creative and understand current fashion trends to produce items to help their company maintain a competitive edge in the fashion industry. I also have strong communication skills, as i will work with a team of Designers and Engineers to produce fashion items throughout the year.
As a Fashion Designer i will have a range of duties depending on where they work, but i am typically responsible for creating and visualizing ideas for new clothing items, researching trends in the market and overseeing the production of items.
I am a fashion designers with the creative mind behind original clothing, accessories. I sketch out designs that can be constructed into a variety of products, from fabrications to patterns, with instructions on how i want it done.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Fashion Designer or similar role.
- Proficient with Adobe photoshop, CadCam and Adobe Illustrator.
- Availability for research and product development.
- Ability to do sketches by hand.
- Excellent design and conceptual skills.
- Doing my bachelor’s degree in fashion designing.
- Good at pattern making, sewing, draping, and drawing illustrations.
