Do you even wonder? How can other people be good at singing, when others aren't? How can they have so much swag while dancing, when you can't even dance? How can they create such good stories, when you can't even write a single sentence?
There are things that you can't do, while other people are good at it, and then vice versa. Growing up, I was envious of my classmates, because they can sing and dance pretty well, and I can't even stand straight on my own feet, nor sing our national anthem perfectly. Then, I thought, maybe I really don't have a talent after all. But as my teacher discovered that I can write pretty well, she encouraged me to join a writing competition.
At first, I was too hesitant. What if I do not win? Why would I win in the first place? I don't even have the proper knowledge in writing. I don't even have enough experience, heck I never tried to write a poem or a story, but my teacher believed in me.
The competiton ended, and I got the 2nd place. It was unbelievable, I, myself can't even believe that I won, in a competition.
That's when I realized that, I do have a talent. Everyone does, maybe we just don't notice it, but other people too. You may not sing or dance, but what if you are a poet? A musician? Or anything else, that other's can't do.
