About this Talent:
when I couldn’t understand the language I started observing everything that was around me. This help me adapt myself within the education system of the United states. At the beginning it was hard because I was kind of depending on others. I don’t like to depend on other, but as I started to look what was happening I developed the capacity to observe my surroundings. Every year, I am adding more experience to his talent. I know that this will help me in the career that I want to do. My second talent is to multitask. I’m able to focus on two thing at the same time. When I
was in Dominican Republic I developed this skill. My teacher there challenged me all the time by giving me multiple work to focus on at the same time. They just give me an hour to finish.
Some say that gifted people are equipped with artistic or musical and the high academic abilities. I am confident to say that I am good at academic, music and sport; however, I would say that my greatest talent is that I am a very fast learner with the ability to up skill rapidly. I always look for ways to continuously enhance my skills through development opportunities.
I simply was able to easily grasp underlying principles and master new information that I do not need to be as diligent as others to achieve a good result. On my secondary school graduation day, I received two awards for being the second-brightest student and the champs in several competitions ranging from debate to soccer competitions. I used to despise piano lessons so much that I often did not practice at all. However, even though my teacher knew that I did not practice, he was always amazed by how I could make the song I played sounds beautiful and emotional. In junior high school, I was able to join a province-level basketball competition in my home country. In senior high school, I realized that I was really into soccer and I decided to try getting into school’s soccer team and surprisingly, I was accepted and in less than 2 years, I was able to become the captain
Music has always been a part of my life. In definition, it is “vocal or instrumental sounds combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.” Ever since I was a young child, I have loved music. The strong, steady beats, the entrancing melodies, and the lyrics that vary between heartwarming and heart-wrenching have always had an unexplainable effect on my life. Music seems to have the ability to change certain aspects of my world. Even with my moods, whether it is sad or mad, music will help me get through it. It has absolutely been an enormous part of my life and who I am. Thus, this is to say that I have musical talent. I am in a high school marching band, where I play any piano-like instrument. My viewpoint with music has come to a simple conclusion, without it, I would not know who I am or what to do with my life.
