In order to help them in their ongoing cases before the election petitions tribunal, the forum of All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidates has requested assistance from the party's leadership and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The leadership news report said that the candidates for the House of Representatives also requested favors from the Tinubu administration, claiming that even though they were defeated in the general election and that some of them are still contesting the results in their respective constituencies, they are more than willing to support the new government.
Hon. Chisom Promise Dike, chairman of the Coalition of APC House of Representatives Candidates, urged the APC National Working Committee (NWC) to support its members who are in various situations during a press conference yesterday at the APC national secretariat in Abuja.
The candidates for the House of Representatives also requested favors from the Tinubu administration, claiming that even though they were defeated in the general election and that some of them are still contesting the results in their respective constituencies, they are more than willing to support the new government.
"As All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates and representatives across the country, we embrace the realization of our President's Renewed Hope campaign theme. We are aware that the fight ahead won't be simple, but we have faith in the possibility of a better Nigeria. We are devoted to supporting President Tinubu's plan for the advancement of our country, and we stand with him.
